Mid Cape Athletic Club is pleased to offer physical therapy services for all of our members. These services will be provided by a local company, called, ONYX Sports Physical Therapy, working with Kyle Mahoney..


Services include:

  1. Free Injury Consultations: If you are injured, come see ONYX sports physical therapy for a free injury consultation to talk about your injury and which options may be best.

  2. Physical Therapy Services: Evaluations will be up to 1.5 hours long and physical therapy sessions are up to 1 hour long. Sessions are always 1 on 1 with the doctor of physical therapy.

  3. Manual Therapy Sessions: If you have aches, pains, and are trying to feel and move better, try our new services which include: Dry Needling, Cupping, Joint Manipulation, and Soft Tissue Massage. These services are helpful in relieving pain, aches, and symptoms which may be limiting your function.

Kyle Mahoney, PT, DPT, CSCS

Kyle Mahoney is a post-doctorate sports residency trained physical therapist as well as a certified strength and conditioning specialist. Kyle is originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and grew up as a competitive baseball player and golfer.


He spent four years interning in the strength and conditioning department at the University of Connecticut where he assisted the performance staff train many of the male and female Division I athletes. While obtaining his doctorate in physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine in

San Diego, CA, he interned at EXOS in Phoenix, Arizona, where he worked with many collegiate and professional athletes, including NFL prospects as they prepared for the NFL combine. Kyle also interned at Champion Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama, where many physicians,

biomechanists, and physical therapists provide world-renowned sports medicine research and clinical care for professional athletes across the country.


After graduating with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Kyle completed a year-long Post-Doctorate Sports Residency at the University of Southern California where he received further specialized training in sports medicine & rehabilitation. In his free time, he loves to play golf, surf, and enjoy time with his family on Cape Cod!!
