Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday or anytime someone wants to play tennis!

Tell us about your sports and fitness background.I've always played sports but mainly football, soccer and boxing!

When did you start at MCAC? How did you first get exposed to MCAC? How did your first couple of workouts go?I've been a member since last June when my buddy Robert Dwyer brought me to hit tennis balls for the first time. I joined the Play With A Pro clinics shortly after and the first couple of classes went great! I always felt super supported by all of the coaches and before I knew it, I almost looked like a real tennis player!

What is your favorite movement workout?

Anything related to tennis!

What impact has MCAC had on your life?

Awe man, I could go on forever. This past year at Mid Cape has been amazing. I've met lifelong friends, become part of some awesome tennis groups and feel like I have a new home away from home. Whenever I'm having a bad day, I'll hit the tennis courts and then grab a drink at the bar and chat with staff, coaches and other members! What else could you want?!

Do you have a favorite MCAC moment?

I would have to say making it to the finals in a tennis tournament with the person who got me into tennis! Pretty cool full circle moment!

What is your advice for people just getting started or thinking about starting MCAC?

If you're getting into tennis, don't be afraid to chat with one of the coaches! They're always willing to help and point you in the right direction!

What is keeping you at MCAC?

You have the front desk with Joyce, Anna, Kelley, Netty, Kris and Kyle who are always helpful, friendly and willing to pour you a glass of wine! The coaches Tim, Jim, Alex, Sandy, Andreas, Brandon and Sam, who are the only reason I can sometimes hit the ball over the net and are always a good time to just chat with. The other MCAC members who have made me feel welcomed and invite me to play with them even though I suck! Thanks everyone : )

What are your interests, hobbies, and talents outside of MCAC?
When not playing tennis or at the office I can be found gardening, working in the yard or walking the dogs.  I love a good puzzle, playing Hi-Low Jack or Pitch and games with my family.

When you’re not at MCAC, where would we find you?

If not working in the office, spending time with family and our two dogs Champ & Grady.  The dogs are always with me. I keep pretty busy and usually have some type of project going on at the house.

What days times are you normally at MCAC?I love playing early in the morning, this gets me out of the house and moving. Occasionally our team will practice at night and/or have a match or two during the week.

Tell us about your sports and fitness background.
I used to be an avid runner and enjoyed road races. I love being outside, a good hike, skiing and exploring the Cape on my bike with my husband.

When did you start at MCAC? How did you first get exposed to MCAC? How did your first couple of workouts go?
I started playing tennis outside in the summer of 2018 and 19 at Kings Grant.  I loved it and was hooked.  Now, I was looking for more court time and help with my game and MCAC was the perfect fit. I started with the punch card and not long after I was a member, playing as much as I could year around. Never having to worry or think about the weather again.  Employees & members of MCAC are kind, always happy and so helpful.  I now play year around and on 3 different teams.

What is your favorite movement workout?

I love liveball clinics and the Saturday morning clinics with Andreas and Jim.

What impact has MCAC had on your life?

Joining MCAC, I’ve gained lasting friendships that mean so much to me. Tennis came into my life when I needed it most, it lifted my spirit, gave me strength and continues to motivate me every day.

Do you have a favorite MCAC moment?

My perfect MCAC is simple: a bike warm-up, great tennis, followed by relaxing in the sauna and a cold beer with friends at the café.

What is your advice for people just getting started or thinking about starting MCAC?

MCAC has so many things to offer and there's something for everyone.  I promise you'll ask yourself why did I wait so long.

What is keeping you at MCAC?

Tennis and my friendships, I only wish I had more time in my day!
